Warrington String Quartet

Warrington String Quartet is a recently established ensemble, having performed its inaugural concert in 2024 in St. Thomas’s church, Stockton Heath. The members of WSQ are well known orchestral players in the North West, and the founding members are residents of Warrington.

The aim of WSQ is to bring popular classics of the string quartet repertoire to a wider audience in the area. In this concert, WSQ join forces with clarinetist Paul Brimicombe, to play Mozart’s charming Clarinet Quintet in A major. The programme will also feature Mendelssohn’s Quartet No.4 in E minor. in this stunning historical setting.
