In Stockton Heath Library, no need to pre-book! All events are FREE with most aimed at children of all abilities.
Thursday 3rd July
Make Your Own Pixel Art Magnet. Design your own magnet using pixel art and your imagination to create something unique. Aimed at children over 5 years old (3:30pm to 5pm).
Friday 4th July (10am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm)
Make Your Own Space Badge: Join us and design your own inter-galactic badge and see it develop before your very eyes. This popular craft session is aimed at children under 10 years old.
Jar of flying saucers: Our intrepid space explorers have found a number of intergalactic flying saucers and collected them in a jar. Can you correctly guess how many are in the jar? Put your nominations in the box in the library. Prize draw for correct guesses. Winner announced 8th July.
Space Hunt: Launch into space. Images from space have been beamed into the library. Can you find them all and decipher the secret word? Prize draw for correct guesses. Winner announced 8th July.
Saturday 5th July (10:30am to 12 noon)
VR headsets and 3D printer demonstration: Try our Virtual Reality headsets and experience the virtual world, and see our amazing 3D printer in action. For children over 11 years old, and adults.
Make your own astronaut: Get ready to blast off into outer space from the library. Come along and make your own astronaut. Aimed at children under 10 years old.
