Professional Rain or Shine Theatre Company present Dickens’ The Pickwick Papers as part of their ‘summer of 2026′ national tour.

A Festival headliner event, a professional theatre open air performance, Rain or Shine plan to take you into the delightfully chaotic Victorian world of The Pickwick Papers, where misadventure and merriment collide in a whirlwind of Dickensian absurdity!

Join the lovable Mr Pickwick and his eccentric band of companions as they bumble their way on a rollicking journey through confusing courtships, courtroom shenanigans, questionable duels and carriage rides gone terribly wrong.

Expect fast-paced wit, multi-rolling mayhem with mischief a- plenty from a cast of larger-than-life characters in this new and hilarious adaptation of Dickens’ raucous classic. Dickens has never been this delightfully unpredictable!

Pack your picnic, secure your seat and prepare for an adventure with The Pickwick Society – where the only certainty is a thoroughly good time will be had by all!

Online from Ticket Tailor: From 10am, Friday 22nd May 2026 (subject to a small platform booking fee).

Physical tickets: Every Friday and Saturday, 10am to 1pm, from 12th June until 27th June only in the Forge Shopping Centre, Stockton Heath. Or buy tickets from the information point on the Festival Field (during the Festival weekend, subject to tickets still being available). Card or cash payments accepted.
