Family Heritage Trail - explore Stockton Heath

Stockton Heath Village
All ages, Heritage & History
Free
Sat 29 June - Sun 7 July
From Saturday 29th June

The Family Heritage Trail is a free activity for this year’s festival when you’re sure to find out something new. Did you follow the trail to uncover letters and reveal a mystery message: LOVE STOCKTON HEATH VILLAGE?

How to join in?

Pick up a trail map from St Rocco’s shop in Stockton Heath Village or from the Information Tent on the Festival Field during the festival. Or download the form here.

The trail takes you around the village and gives you some of the history of Stockton Heath, using photographs from the archives and historical items on loan from Warrington Museum. Look for the posters in the windows of our amazing local businesses and spot the letters as you go.

Can you collect all the letters to reveal a mystery message?

You can go around the trail in any order and it’s FREE! A great activity for kids and adults alike.

Thank you to Ray Corcoran for the kind use of his local history archive. Thanks also to Warrington Museum and Art Gallery for loaning historic materials and artefacts.
