A Festival Favourite

A Festival headliner activity. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a budding artist, or simply curious to explore, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at our vibrant Art Exhibition at St Thomas’ Church, Stockton Heath we spotlight the works of our talented local artists. Many of the artworks you see are available for sale – take home a piece of original art, and support local artists.

Prizes will be given to the pieces judged first and second, and you can vote for your favourite piece in the Tudor Pole Award.

Artists, exhibit your work

Are you an established artist looking to exhibit your work? Or are you looking to exhibit for the first time. To take part please fill in this form. A maximum of 2 pieces of work per artist will be displayed in the church and entry is £5 per piece payable when works are dropped off at St Thomas’ Church, in the heart of Stockton Heath Village WA4 6HJ.

The closing date for entries is 27th June 2025.

Workshops & classes

With Thursday 3rd July being our first day open to the public, we will have a ‘Life Drawing’ activity taking place from 10 am. Each session will be 30 minutes long and there will be breaks between them for 15 minutes. The activity will be suitable for young people and adults, and facilitated by Marc Turner. Resident artists will be at the church throughout the day, between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm.

Exhibition times and dates

Thursday to Saturday: Meet resident artists at the church throughout the day, between 10 am and 4 pm

  • Thursday: With Thursday 3rd July being our first day open to the public, we will have a ‘Life Drawing’ activity taking place from 10 am. Each session will be 30 minutes long and there will be breaks between them for 15 minutes. The activity will be suitable for young people and adults, and facilitated by Marc Turner.
  • Friday: At 11am, take part in a 2 hour ‘Painting the Church’ activity with Marc. This is an age inclusive activity – anyone can get involved (child friendly). Paige Weyman will hold a lino printing workshop that will be suitable for young people, from the age of 13 years old as we will be using tools to carve our drawings. This workshop will take place from 2 pm till 4 pm.
  • Saturday: Marc will again facilitate a 2 hour workshop from 11am. You will learn how to make a ‘Stained Glass Window’ which will be suitable for people of all ages (child friendly). Paige will hold a collage making workshop which will be child friendly and for people of all ages. This will take place from 2 pm till 3 pm.
